I noticed that the supplied doors in the kit where not very impressive & in scale, so i decided to scratch build these instead. Using the Proxxon FET table saw i fabricated some strips of teakwood (1mm x 2mm) and glued cardboard on one side of it.
By using the 2mm strips and after glued them together the door looks much narrower and seems higher even dough it's in the same size as the supplied version
It is starting to look like a door at this stage, and
to improve it even more, I cut a 1mm strip of copper from a sheet and shaped it
like an hinge by using scissors and a round needle file
Also the supplied door handle in the kit is way out of scale, so i made new ones
I'm pleased with the result
